It's a nice sunny day here in South-West-France and you just feel like a nice Cocktail, why not try one 'a la Charentais'.

Maybe you are starting to prepare a dinner from one of my Charentais Recipes.

If you are, you will find a few drinks recipes which might just be very enjoyable while you are preparing your meal.

Cocktails

Okay, here is the first one.

Le Reaulais

4 ounces White Pineau

1 ounce Cognac

1 ounce Pineapple Juice

4 ounces Champagne

plus a dash of grenadine syrup

Mix the first three ingredients in a shaker, add the champagne and then a dash of grenadine.

Serve in very cold champagne glasses and.............enjoy

Le Sud-Ouest

2 ounces Gin

2 ounces Orange Juice

1 ounce Cointreau

plus a dash of grenadine

slice of lime, candied cherry and fresh mint leaves to decorate

Mix all the ingredients in a shaker, add the grenadine and decorate with the above.

Le Charentais

I am sure you will like one of them.

Just remember that one at the time will do, as you are still preparing your meal!!!

On the other hand, this might be your cocktail after you prepared your meal and you are now relaxing by the pool or in the garden.

Whenever you decide to have it, I really hope you will enjoy it.

Just have a good time....
