ORIGINAL CHARENTAISE RECIPES

Where do I get my original Charentaise Recipes from?

Well, living in Poullignac, a small hamlet, that is no problem at all, as my neighbours are born around here and have lived in the Charente all their live.

So I thought it would be lovely to pass on some of these recipes.

As you can imagine all the ingredients are fresh and a lot is home grown.

But I am sure you will be able to find it all in your local supermarket if you don't happen to have a herb and vegetable patch in your garden......

Hopefully after reading you will be quite hungry or even a bit thirsty and maybe you will create your own first taste of France.

ENJOY.....

And then, after you enjoyed the food you might think of coming on a little holiday to the South-West-France.

Why not have a look at 'La Petite Maison'.

Okay, that is enough now of tempting you, here is a list of some of the recipes I promised.

Snails a la Charentaise

Crepes au Citron

Tarte au Citron

Lapin Saute a la Charentaise

Grillon

Duck and Pork Pātē
